Observations of Hypocrisy: Or Nothing New Today

There was a huge outcry when the Iraqi war began. Bush said "You're either with us or against us". Republicans called democrats "traitors to America" for not supporting the war. Dems cried out that they weren't traitors, the war was wrong. Many were angered that their loyalty to our country was called into question because they felt the best thing for America was staying out of the Iraqi war. Dem's weren't "patriotic", they were supporting Osama, giving aid to the terrorists. Dems were, naturally, very upset over these accusations. As they should have been. t shouldn't be one way or the other. We should be allowed to hold opinions against something without having our loyalties called into question. And the dems said that.

But apparently, the dems don't see their own form of "you're with us or against us". Yeah, those dems have one of their own. "FOR THE CHILDREN". If you don't do what THEY think is best "FOR THE CHILDREN", then you obviously hate THE CHILDREN. You're not allowed to have general disagreements about an idea because it's FOR THE CHILDREN, so you HAVE to support it to prove you really love THE CHILDREN.

So, the dems have made it clear that they really ARE unpatriotic, traitorous supporters of Osama. Because if they want to hold the repubs to FOR THE CHILDREN, then we should hold them to "YOUR WITH US OR AGAINST US". It's only fair.
